John Mulaney has been dubbed a “hair icon!” in addition to being named one of GQ’s Men of the Year.

Mulaney, forty-two, showed up for the GQ Men of the Year 2024 event at Bar Marmont in Los Angeles, where the magazine presented him with the Comedian of the Year award.
He dressed elegantly in a light gray suit and a jet-black button-down shirt to commemorate the event. He added black patent leather loafers to complete the contrasting look. The comedian also sported his most recent, lengthier hairstyle.
He chatted with Jason Stewart and Chris Black of GQ on the red carpet before to the event, when Stewart questioned, “What does it feel like to be an emerging hair icon?”
While his wife, Olivia Munn, is doing advertisements for SKIMS, the two also asked him what it’s like to be one of GQ’s Men of the Year. “Are you concerned that your family unit is potentially becoming too sexy?”
Mulaney mentioned his 44-year-old wife, Munn, although she wasn’t there for the function. But this year, the two have gone together to a number of red carpet events, such as the InStyle Imagemaker Awards. Mulaney gave Munn the publication’s Woman of Impact Award during the October event in recognition of her advocacy for women’s health after being diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
The two collaborated once more during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. The pair attended the Hermes SS25 Men’s Show on June 22 dressed stylishly in gray.
The comic was dressed in black dress shoes, a gray checkered suit, and a button-down shirt. Munn wore a long, sleeveless gray blazer over matching leggings for a less conventional look. She accessorized the ensemble with a tiny chocolate brown purse and wore black sunglasses to tie her hair back.
Mulaney mockingly “practiced” watching his first fashion show before it began, creating dramatic facial expressions, while Munn posted a behind-the-scenes footage of their looks on Instagram.
