Temporary Restraining order contrary to Guy Gansert
Guy is a Reno, Nevada, emergency room physician. His LinkedIn profile states that he is employed at Northern Nevada Emergency Physicians. Guy was Renown Medical Center’s Chief of Staff from 2005 until 2007. Prior to that, he served as the Renown Regional Emergency Room’s Department of Emergency Medicine’s Medical Director from 1994 until 2005.
The US Sun originally revealed in October that Gansert was the target of a temporary restraining order request three years prior, just after the divorce proceedings between him and Guy Gansert Wife Heidi Seevers O’Gara were completed.
After additionally acquiring the court records, USA Today revealed that O’Gara submitted an application for a “protection order against domestic violence” in Nevada family court on October 12, 2021. O’Gara requested to withdraw the application three weeks later, therefore the temporary protection order was denied. Dismissal papers state that the couple came to a “no-contact agreement.”
Gansert’s response to the case update
In a statement posted on Instagram, Gansert stated that he would like to address articles concerning a 2021 personal issue. When she voluntarily rejected her request for a protective order, the regrettable circumstance that had arisen during a very trying time for him and Guy Gansert Wife was finally settled.
“My ex-wife and I recently asked the court to seal her application for the protective order as we had hoped to maintain privacy for our family,” Gansert added, citing a joint motion to seal the case on September 30.
Guy Gansert Wife’s allegations
As an assemblywoman in the state senate, she has long been a well-known local Republican politician in Nevada. However, O’Gara chose not to run for government again in 2024. She and Gansert have four grown children: boys Glenn and Hank, and daughters MacKenzie and Kirsten. Their eldest daughter, MacKenzie, a lawyer, has one grandchild, Idan.
After they split up in 2021, O’Gara said Gansert “physically tried to threaten” her, according to The Sun. O’Gara requested in her application that Gansert provide her 45 days of protection.
When she and her sister-in-law were driving away from a gym, she claimed Gansert showed up and “placed something under my rear driver’s tire.”
