During this week’s Sister Wives episode, which aired on Sunday, November 23, Kody fulfilled his pledge to assist Meri with leaving her house in Flagstaff, Arizona, before she returns permanently to Utah. The two ex-partners, whose partnership was formally ended through their church following their 2023 split, were getting along well despite a difficult few years together as they joked around.
On his part, Kody even called Meri his “favorite ex-wife.” In addition, the patriarch of the Brown family was formerly polygamously married to Christine and Janelle Brown.
Meri and Kody had a conversation at the end of the moving process that suddenly moved the 55-year-old to tears.
He went so far as to refer to it as the “end of an era” before giving Meri a hug. Following that, Kody said that he had “been going through an anger phase of divorce.” Even if he is no longer upset, he is nonetheless “sad” because he is “mourning a loss.”
After Kody ignored their relationship for years, Meri was surprised by his surprisingly emotional reaction to her leaving. Telling the cameras, “He’s saying it’s the end of an era and I’m thinking it didn’t have to be this way,” she said.
